Community Guidelines

Effective June 25, 2026 · Version 2026-06-25

Klori's food database is community-contributed. These guidelines keep it accurate and useful. Submitting content means you agree to follow them.

1. Food and ingredient standards

Submit real products and accurate nutrition values per 100 g. Submissions that fail automated sanity checks are hidden automatically. As a guide, values must stay within realistic bounds:

2. No duplicates

Search before adding. Don't re-submit a food or ingredient that already exists; improve the existing entry instead.

3. Accuracy

Use official nutrition labels or trusted references (e.g. FNRI or USDA data) for the values you enter. Don't guess when a label is available.

4. Recipes

A recipe must contain ingredients. Empty recipes are removed automatically after 24 hours.

5. Prohibited

No spam, joke or fake entries, advertising, or offensive material.

6. How moderation works

User submissions start as pending and become broadly visible only after review. Automated integrity checks also run regularly and may hide content that breaks these rules.

7. Strikes

When your content is removed or auto-hidden for breaking these rules, you receive a strike and a warning.

8. Bans

Repeated strikes temporarily suspend your ability to submit content (currently 30 days). Moderators may also apply manual bans for serious violations.

9. Reporting and appeals

Report content that breaks these rules using the in-app report option. To appeal a moderation decision, contact marcdanieldelacruz599@gmail.com.
